CANDIDATES FROM CLAY COUNTY

Our thanks to Ryan Odor for carrying the Democratic Banner in his race for the State House.  Ryan's campaign focused on the issues that impact all Iowans: Education, Health Care, and Mental Health. Ryan did a great job advocating those issues and speaking up for the change we need in Iowa State Government.           We THANK YOU Ryan!

Bringing Together Democrats in Clay County

In January, Emerge Iowa will be launching a 6-month candidate training program for Democratic women in Iowa. They are looking for:

  - Women who would be strong candidates for municipal elections in 2019 as well as state and county elections in 2020

  - Women who are not yet ready to run but would like the training to perhaps manage a campaign and run in the future

-Women from all backgrounds including self-identifying women from the LGBTQ community, women of color and women from labor communities.

Application:
Although the public application deadline was November 30,
they are extending extra time for any who would be great fits.
