TikTok isn’t just a Kesha banger or the sound of a clock anymore. It’s a platform where users can effortlessly scroll through a diverse array of short video content, ranging from viral dance moves to the latest celebrity gossip and cooking hacks.
Whatever one’s interest, TikTok offers an array of influencers with unique niches and content for everyone to enjoy. In this blog, we spotlight some of the top TikTok influencers that brands should keep an eye on in 2024.
Why TikTok influencer marketing is critical for brands
Let’s be honest, our attention spans aren’t what they used to be, and most people now consume content through social media and short video platforms like, you guessed it, TikTok! The primary users are Gen Zers, who make up 60% of TikTok’s audience.
Did you know?: TikTok’s search function is gaining popularity for product discovery. Perhaps soon we’ll be saying “let’s TikTok it” instead of “let’s Google it.”
So, why does Gen Z love TikTok so much? Gen Z yearns for authenticity and prefers content from “real people” rather than corporate robots, which is understandable. TikTok offers a platform where individuals can share their experiences and give advice in a safe space, fostering a sense of community.
GRIN’s article delving into Everything You Need to Know About TikTok Influencer Marketing further explores the intricacies of marketing to Gen Zers.
